Of course, I love fiction. But the genre
I love the most is paranormal/suspense. I like to keep my readers guessing
until the very end, and then throw them a
curve ball. It's my thing. I try to find different ways to keep
them guessing, and it is
always fun to try and figure out ways to keep even me on my toes.
I never outline anything. To me...well...I think it's a waste of paper. I mean, I know of
people who outline everything, and more power to them, but that's not my
style. I like to keep myself guessing, but I always know where the
story is going to end up, even before I begin writing it. That's
all I really need to know. How it ends.
Period. It makes life simpler, and you don't have
to deal with all of those bulletin points.
Where's the fun in that
anyway? You sit there and outline everything, and then if you miss a point, you have to
go back and change everything around. That's too much work and not enough fun if you ask
me. No, I'm more of a free spirit. I like to let the
story unfold in my mind as I type. It's more organic that way.
-Laughs-But the one thing that I absolutely
have to do when I write, is to have fun. If I'm not having fun, then I'm not doing it right, and I have to take a break from the story.
It's never a long break, because I always have another idea that needs
to go in the story. But still, it's
a break.Well, my
blog break is over. Time to get back
to the real story. Life.Signed,The Fiction Writer
