Listening to Fiction

I like being read to. There is just something so relaxing about someone’s voice reading you a book. So I found this new way of reading. I go on Audible.com, get the unabridged version of the book, and then download it onto my computer. After that’s done, I put it onto my iPod, and I read the book along with the narrator.

Pretty cool, huh?

It eliminates outside noises while you read (like the TV if someone else is in the room with you), and it is nearly impossible to lose your place. So you don’t read the same sentence over and over again.

However, there is a downside. Like sometimes, I don’t like the narrator, and I don’t always have enough money to buy the audio book… But with those little flaws, I still love it. It keeps me focused on the book and helps me see the book in my mind’s eye better.
