The Daily Dose
After 6 days and 5 nights in the hospital, I am back home safe and sound. I'm not going to lie, it was touch and go there for a long time, but I am feeling about 75% better. This has been really hard on me, considering that
I...well...my hemoglobin, which is the blood in your body, was only 4.8 and a normal level is at least 10, so there's that. Then we finally found out why I was so sick. My colon is seeping blood at this point, but they have me on meds (steroids, my fav!) and
they are slowly but surely going to fix it and me as well.
We don't know why it happened, and we may never fully understand why it all progressed so slowly. However,
I'm glad to be home and in my own bed. Even if my arms look like I've been in a heavy weight prize fight, and my face is starting to look like a pumpkin. It is a small price to pay for finally knowing what I have been going through.
Thank God for my sinus infection without it I would not be sitting here today.
Reporting live FINALLY from her bed, I'm Laura Del with your daily dose of good news.
And remember to stay safe, be good and be well.
